The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing I found to be good to get an overview of multiple different methods. From there you can determine what style you want to learn more about. Though that book is more about trading than investing, there is some trading in it. O’Neil is a trader and he is the guy I chose to learn more about. Though today I do not use a lot of his method, it is where I started.

Another good resource to learn a lot of the basics and terminology is investors.com.
